  • Smoking Tape Sum (Bruising's Incidental)

Yeah, I know. It's kind of just out of control at some points. Again, one take for each guitar part.
  • Aporias

It gets more exciting nearer the end.
  • Don't Be Too Slow To Judge - Sufjan Style

Sufjan Stevens is one of my heros. At least musically. I don't really know him so I guess 'hero' in general is too strong. From what I hear he's a great guy. At any rate, I love how this sounds so I had to post it just in case you do, too, listener.
  • Don't Be Too Slow To Judge

This is an older one that I just now recorded. I like the effect on it because it gives it a more raw song. Forgive the squeaks and muted notes; it's all one take again. This is a really fun song to play, too.
  • Thousands Less

This song was kind of an accident. It was one of those where I hit 'record' on my Mac and started playing something. I had no idea where the song would go. It's a perfect example of what I mean when I say that my songs write themselves. I never took any lessons or anything like that and I can't read music to save my life. So my songs have to take the credit for writing themselves. I'm just there to make the notes come out. I am guessing, though that God is entertained by all of this. He gave me some kind of ability here, I'm just not sure what it is.
  • Simple Enough

This is a good ole fanger-peekin' song! It does speed up, by the way. It just starts off slow.
  • Shake The Dust Off Of My Feet And Run

One of my friends asked i this was two guitars. No, it's just one. Some of my other songs have me laying down one track and then putting another guitar track over that one, but this song is one take and one guitar.
  • Communicomplacency

This was originally called "Hey, Everyone's Got A Lightbulb" and I still think about leaving it that way because when I play-wrote the song I couldn't find my slide and grabbed a lightbulb instead. I think it sounds pretty good with a bulb.
  • Hollywood Mike

One of my few (almost) complete songs. Yes, the music is rough. All of this was one take and I'm doing everything on it. I know there isn't any singing. My songs haven't given me lyrics yet so the process is still, um...in process.
